Rosebush Reservoir

Rosebush – Pembrokeshire

Nestling in the Preseli Mountains, this small secluded reservoir is one of the few remaining upland wild brown trout fisheries. It is well-managed by a small syndicate of dedicated anglers of which Tony was one of the founder members. Rosebush offers superb sport for hard-fighting wild brown trout running to some quite substantial sizes!

Even playing an average size wild brown trout of 1lb will leave the angler in no doubt that pound for pound they are significantly more feisty than the stocked rainbows that so many still-water fly fisherman find themselves pursuing more regularly.

Most fishing here is by boat and our expert knowledge of the water allows us to offer the best possible chance of taking fish in most conditions. We also try to arrange for a visit to the water during the evening rise, which at Rosebush can be incredibly lively!
